The Blue Sea 1479 is a 360 Panel with a 120V AC dual outlet, providing a platform for mounting switching and monitoring equipment.
The 360 Panel system is modular, and that is the reason to buy into it rather than a fixed panel. Sections bolt together so a boat’s electrical panel is built to the equipment it actually has, and extended later without starting again. This section adds two 120V AC outlets, which is what turns a switching panel into somewhere you can also plug something in.
Panel-mounted outlets sit behind a proper faceplate rather than hanging off an extension lead, which matters on a boat where a loose cord is a trip hazard and a wet cord is worse. Blue Sea puts a California Proposition 65 warning on this product, standard for electrical components of this type. Explore more marine electrical panels.
