The EGIS TH3 24V Dual 80A High-Current Relay is built for remotely switching two battery or auxiliary loads from a low-current control signal. In a 24V system it can be tied to ignition control for automatic accessory disconnect or simple multi-battery charge management, reducing the need for long high-current cable runs to a manual switch location.
The relay includes a sealed MX-150 connector and harness with 2 ft control leads for the control side of the installation. It can be combined with TH Series automatic charging or time-delay relays when an isolated switched output or additional current-carrying capability is needed. An optional output busbar can also connect the relay directly to compatible RT or CT fuse-block families.
Harsh-service details include a sealed high-temperature enclosure and stainless self-locking hardware. Diode suppression is built into the relay to limit switching spikes on the control circuit, and the dual-output design provides flexibility when two protected loads need remote power control.
- Remote switching keeps high-current cable runs shorter and more direct
- Dual outputs provide flexible control of separate auxiliary loads
- Sealed connector system is intended for demanding electrical environments
- Compatible TH Series components can expand system-control options
- Built-in diode suppression reduces control-line voltage spikes during switching
