Indoor Traditional Sauna
Golden Designs “Hanko” 2-Person Indoor Traditional Sauna (GDI-7202-01)
Two seats, a 6.0 kW stove with built-in controls, and an assembled footprint of 64 by 48 inches standing 78 inches high. The Hanko is the smallest cabin Golden Designs build in their hemlock-and-cedar indoor traditional range, and their specification bullet rates it at 2 person capacity.
The shell is natural reforested Canadian Hemlock; the room inside it is red cedar, with a clear tempered glass door across the front. Golden Designs list it for indoor or covered exterior use and put the stove’s ideal range at 170 to 185°F, with 190°F as the stated maximum.
Of the eight indoor traditional cabins Golden Designs publish, the Hanko is the only two-person model with a hemlock exterior. Its 6.0 kW stove and 30 amp service match the Andermatt and the Sundsvall, and its fittings list matches the larger Forssa and Kuusamo item for item.

The Smallest Cabin, The Same Feature List
Golden Designs give the Hanko the same fittings as its larger siblings and change two numbers: the stove drops to 6.0 kW and the stove circuit drops to 30 amps. Here is what that list actually contains.

6.0 kW On A 30 Amp Circuit
Golden Designs rate the Hanko’s stove at 6.0 kW with the controls built into the unit. It runs on a dedicated 240V / 30AMP service, with a second 120V / 15AMP service for the control panel, lights and music. Their own spec line closes with “Please consult a certified electrician,” and Recovery For Athletes recommends a licensed electrician for the 240V run.

64 By 48 Inches, Measured Once
Golden Designs publish one measurement for the Hanko: Assembled Dimensions of 64 by 48 by 78 inches. They give no interior figure for this cabin, or for the two beside it in the range, so this page carries the assembled line alone and nothing calculated from it. Where The Hanko Sits
Golden Designs’ indoor traditional cabins run from two seats to six across two wood specifications and two stove sizes. The Hanko is the only hemlock-and-cedar cabin Golden Designs put on the 6.0 kW stove, and they measure it at 64 inches wide.

Frequently Asked Questions
Two. Golden Designs’ specification bullet reads 2 person capacity. Their product title says 2-3 Person and their tags carry both figures; where the manufacturer contradicts itself we take the bullet, and we have raised it with them. There is no interior dimension to give you. Golden Designs publish a single Assembled Dimensions (WDH) line of 64″ × 48″ × 78″ for the Hanko and no interior figure anywhere in their data for this cabin or for the Forssa and Kuusamo. Deriving one from the assembled figure would be our arithmetic, not their specification, so we don’t. Ask us and we will request it from Golden Designs.Yes — a 6.0 kW stove with built-in controls is on Golden Designs’ list for the Hanko, on its own 240V / 30AMP service. No stove manufacturer is named for this model in their data, so none is named here, and they say nothing about sauna stones either way.Two separate services. Golden Designs specify 240V / 30AMP for the stove and 120V / 15AMP for the control, lights and music, and add “Please consult a certified electrician.” Recovery For Athletes recommends the same — have a licensed electrician run and terminate the 240V circuit.A natural reforested Canadian Hemlock exterior over a red cedar interior, with a clear tempered glass door. Golden Designs name the two species and give no board thickness, so no thickness appears on this page.An oversize interior chromotherapy colour light system with a red light therapy feature, an interior backrest with its own accent light, and an interior LED control panel with a built-in FM station and Bluetooth connection driving built-in performance speakers.Golden Designs’ specification names the sauna with its 6.0 kW stove and built-in controls, the oversize chromotherapy colour light system with red light therapy feature, the interior backrest with accent light, the interior LED control panel with FM and Bluetooth, built-in performance speakers, the clear tempered glass door, and a sandglass, bucket and scoop. We list what they list and nothing beyond it.Golden Designs specify it for indoor or covered exterior use and publish nothing further — no weather rating and no cover requirement. Their warranty position on the indoor traditional range is unresolved, so ask us for the written terms before you plan a covered outdoor installation.Delivery is free and curbside by freight across the 48 contiguous states, and we include free delivery damage insurance with it. That offer comes from Recovery For Athletes, not from Golden Designs. The freight carrier calls you 24 to 48 hours ahead to set a day and a 4-hour window, Monday to Friday. The Hanko travels strapped to a pallet on a 53-foot semi-truck with a single driver, who unloads to your curbside or the end of your driveway only — Golden Designs state that plainly, and no threshold or room-of-choice service is offered. If your access has a catch — a narrow lane, overhanging branches, a flight of steps, a shared entrance — let us know before it ships. Inspect the boxes while the driver is still there and note any scratch, dent or scuff on the delivery receipt; refuse delivery outright if you see a large hole. Golden Designs’ inspection happens at delivery and they offer no claim window afterwards. This model ships at 695 lbs across 7 boxes, so arrange help for moving it from the kerb.Golden Designs set out the warranty terms for their indoor traditional range in the Warranty tab. Ask us for the written warranty before you order and we will confirm the terms for this model in writing. Recovery For Athletes is an authorized Golden Designs dealer.Golden Designs state that their products are “thoughtfully designed and developed at our California headquarters” and describe their Ontario, California site as a distribution facility. They also say they “work directly with manufacturers to produce our own line”. They do not publish a country of manufacture, and we won’t state one on their behalf.
