First Rung Of The Ladder

Kinvent Discovery Pack

Three wireless sensors and one year of software. K-Push is a handheld dynamometer for isometric muscle strength. K-Pull is a traction dynamometer that reads tensile force along a line. K-Move is a connected goniometer for joint range of motion. Between them they cover the three quantities a clinician reaches for first: how hard someone pushes, how hard someone pulls, and how far a joint travels.

This is the entry point for a practitioner who has been recording assessments by hand and wants figures on the record. All three sensors report into the K-Force app, so a push test and a range-of-motion reading land in the same place under the same profile. The pack ships on the STARTER tier of Kinvent Physio for a year, which carries three terminals and three patient profiles. The rung above it on this ladder holds the identical tier, so the move from here to the Starter Pack is a hardware move alone.

The Tier You Land On

STARTER, and who else is on it

Kinvent publish their subscription tiers as a table on their support site, and this pack sits on the first of the three. Two figures and one comparison cover almost everything that tier decides.

?Three terminalsA terminal is a device signed in to the licence, and this tier carries three. A tablet in the clinic room and a phone at the desk account for two before a colleague opens the app.3 terminals?Three profilesThree patient profiles are held at this tier. Kinvent lift that ceiling to six on Premium and twenty on Excellence, which is the route a growing caseload takes.3 profiles? The rung above shares itThe Starter Pack ships on this same tier. Why Practitioners Start Here

Three sensors, three measurements

Nothing in this pack overlaps. Each sensor answers a question the other two cannot, which is what makes three the smallest useful number.

The Three Sensors

What each one does

Dynamometer

K-Push

A handheld dynamometer. The clinician holds it against the limb, the person presses into it, and the app records the force produced. It is the make-test tool of the pack and the one most sessions open with.

  • Measures isometric muscle strength
  • Held in the clinician’s hand during the test
  • Pairs to the K-Force app

Isometric strengthHandheldTraction

K-Pull

A traction dynamometer. It sits inline between an anchor and a handle or strap, and reads the tensile force running through it. That covers the pulling half of the strength picture, which a push-only device cannot reach.

  • Measures tensile force
  • Works inline on a traction setup
  • Pairs to the K-Force app

Tensile forceTractionGoniometer

K-Move

A connected goniometer. Where the other two read force, this one reads angle, capturing joint range of motion straight into the record. The reading arrives in the app, with no plastic scale to read off and transcribe.

  • Measures joint range of motion
  • Records the angle into the app directly
  • Pairs to the K-Force app

The Pack Ladder

Six packs, one ladder

Each pack on this ladder is a set of sensors plus a one-year Kinvent Physio subscription. Discovery sits at the bottom with three sensors; every pack above it carries those same three and adds to them.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Three sensors and a software subscription. One handheld dynamometer, the K-Push. One traction dynamometer, the K-Pull. One goniometer, the K-Move. Alongside them, a one-year Kinvent Physio subscription. The STARTER tier, for one year, named in RFA’s listing. It carries three terminals and three patient profiles, and Kinvent scale that tier to the individual practitioner. The Starter Pack one rung up sits on the very same subscription.A device signed in to the K-Force app under that licence. Kinvent’s published figures are three terminals on Starter, six on Premium, twenty on Excellence. A clinic with one tablet per room counts one terminal per room.Three at this tier, because the profile ceiling follows the terminal count exactly. It reaches six in the middle of the table and twenty at the top, which is the ladder a growing caseload climbs.Isometric muscle strength. Kinvent categorise it as a handheld dynamometer: the clinician braces it, the person pushes into it, and the force is recorded in the app.Direction. The K-Push reads force pressed into a handheld unit. The K-Pull is a traction dynamometer and reads tensile force running through a line, which lets you record pulling efforts as well as pushing ones.It is a connected goniometer measuring joint range of motion, and the angle it reads goes into the K-Force app under the profile you have open. That removes the transcription step between the measurement and the record.Yes. Kinvent describe their range as one solution, one app, connected sensors, and everything in this pack pairs to the K-Force app. There is no second piece of software to install for the goniometer. The pack is priced as three sensors plus twelve months of Kinvent Physio. The three sensors listed individually come to slightly less than the pack, and the difference covers the subscription year. Buy them separately and the hardware is all you get.No. The Evolution Pack is the first rung that carries the K-Force Plates, which measure balance, posture and force distribution. Discovery covers strength and joint angle only. The duffle bag appears from the Evolution Pack upward. Discovery holds three small units, which is why the listing does not include one.The Starter Pack. It carries these same three sensors and adds the K-Grip with its accessory for grip strength, plus the K-Bubble for pressure and muscle activation. Its subscription is this identical STARTER tier, so that step buys sensors and leaves the software untouched.
