The blue Megaware KeelGuard is a 4 ft keel protector for boats with blue hulls or blue bottom paint. Matching the protector to the hull keeps it from standing out on the keel. This length is listed for boats up to about 14 ft.
KeelGuard is a do-it-yourself strip that shields the gelcoat from sand, rocks, concrete ramps, oyster beds, and beaching. Keeping the gelcoat intact keeps water out of the fiberglass underneath, which avoids costly repairs. It is made from a tough, flexible blend of polymers and urethanes.
3M acrylic adhesive bonds the contoured edges to the hull, and angled grooves on the surface form channels that help it move cleanly through the water. The protector is 5 in wide, UV-stabilized, and made in the USA. Browse more Keel Protectors for other colors and lengths.
