Ready Seal 505 is an oil-based, semitransparent wood stain and sealer combined in one product. This unique blend of oils, quality resins, and finely ground pigments penetrates deeply into wood to protect and preserve it from the elements, mold, mildew, and harmful UV rays. Whether you’re staining a deck, fence, siding, or other exterior wood surfaces, Ready Seal 505 delivers a natural, flat finish that enhances the wood’s beauty while providing durable weather protection.
The formula is engineered for ease of application—spray, roll, or brush without worrying about lap marks, runs, or streaks. No backbrushing is required. The finish dries quickly enough to withstand rain within minutes of application, and can be applied at virtually any temperature. When it comes time to refresh the finish, no sanding or stripping is necessary; simply clean the surface and apply a fresh coat.
