The Scandvik Mirror SS Basin Sink measures 11.5 x 5 inches and has a mirror-polished finish. It is 18/10 stainless steel, and the higher nickel content gives good corrosion resistance in salt air and helps the finish hold its shine. It is the bright option for a head or wet bar where the sink is a visible part of the interior.
A compact basin fits heads and wet bars where a full galley sink would take too much counter space. The mirror finish makes a small space feel brighter and more upscale. It pairs well with a compact basin tap. 18/10 stainless is also easy to keep sanitary, which helps in a head.
Check the cutout, bowl depth, and drain clearance before ordering, and seal the flange carefully with a marine-grade sealant. Test the drain for leaks, clean the bowl with a soft cloth and non-abrasive cleaner, and dry it after use to avoid water spots. A brushed version of the same basin hides marks better, and both are in our faucets, showers & sinks.
