The SureFire EDC1 Dual-Fuel Turbo Tan 650-Lumen Flashlight is a compact, high-intensity everyday carry light only 4.76 in long. It runs on one included SF18350 rechargeable battery or a single 123A lithium battery. On the 18350 it reaches about 616 m with 95,000 candela, a throw that rivals much larger lights.
High runs for about 45 minutes on the 18350, and a 25 lumen low runs about 11 hours. On a 123A it gives 350 lumens and 55,000 candela for about 1 hour, with a beam of about 469 m. A click tailcap switch gives fast, simple control.
The body is hard-anodized aluminum with a 1.258 in bezel, and it weighs about 4.56 oz with the 18350 battery. It is IPX7 rated, so it survives submersion to 1 m for 30 minutes. A two-way black oxide clip lets you carry it bezel up or bezel down. Other lights are in our handheld flashlights section.
