The black Uniden UM725GBT is a fixed mount VHF radio with built-in GPS and Bluetooth, matching dark helm panels and electronics. Its standout feature is Bluetooth texting: pair a smartphone and send text messages to another equipped VHF radio. That works offshore, past the reach of cell towers.
The radio is IPX8 submersible and carries NOAA weather channels along with international marine channels. Full Class D DSC lets it send a distress call with your GPS position at the push of a button. Transmit power switches between 25W and 1W.
It outputs both NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000, so it can share data with chartplotters and other networked electronics. The white version is the same radio in a lighter finish. Browse more Fixed Mount VHF Radios for other fixed mount radios.
